Audition with Your Oak Park and River Forest Community Choir

Are you passionate about choral music? Heritage Chorale, based in Oak Park, invites you to join our 60-member chorus. Auditioning for Heritage Chorale opens doors to a rich musical journey for anyone 16+ and for adults of all ages who would like to be part of a diverse group of singers.

Rehearsals take place on Mondays, 7:30–9:30 pm, in the Oak Park/River Forest area and provide a supportive environment for singers to explore diverse choral masterworks. Our concerts will be held in Forest Park on November 14, 2026, and in River Forest on November 15, 2026. Auditions are held in August and December of each year.

Those auditioning do not have to prepare any music, and voice training is not required. The audition includes the director guiding you through various vocal exercises and a simple piece that will be provided.
