​​​​​​​​​In 2024, Heritage Chorale celebrates its 40th anniversary. Our spring concert features Ralph Vaughan Williams' Five Mystical Songs (for baritone and choir with organ), together with Benjamin Britten's Festival Te Deum and Jubilate Deo in C.  These stirring works of praise capture the spirit of joy and gratitude that is at the heart of our celebration.  The program also includes pieces by Heinrich Schütz, Stephen Paulus, and David Dickau, and an anthem by Harriet Ziegenhals, artistic director of Heritage in our second decade.​

Fall 2023 Concerts​

Heritage Chorale’s fall concert explored the four elements—Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water—and featured J. Aaron McDermid’s From Light to Light. McDermid’s setting of the evocative text by Susan Palo Cherwien surrounds the listener with an experience of each element in turn and enlivens our appreciation of the need for balance among them. Works by John Rutter, Stephen Paulus, Frank Ticheli, Samuel Barber, and others completed the program.
